Dr. Anne Ingeborg Myhr is employed as a senior scientist at GenØk - Centre for Biosafety in Tromsø. She holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from NTNU, Trondheim, and a PhD from the University of Tromsø. The title of her PhD thesis is "Precaution, Context and Sustainability. A Study of How Ethical Values may be Involved in Risk Governance of GMOs". Myhr’s present research engagements are within the use of emergent technologies as GMOs and nanobiotechnology, and capacity building in risk assessment and management of GMO use and release in the Third World.
